Training & Vendor Relationship Notice

Notice: Voice Stress Analysis (VSA) training and certification are not required to be obtained directly from any specific equipment manufacturer. Independent VSA certification and recertification programs are lawful and have long been recognized within the profession.

Agencies and examiners should be aware that equipment manufacturers may condition software updates, technical support, or maintenance services on the terms of their individual licensing, warranty, or service agreements. The International Association of Voice Stress Analysts does not control or enforce vendor-specific contractual requirements.

Agencies are encouraged to review their existing vendor agreements and procurement terms prior to scheduling training to ensure alignment with their operational and support requirements.

The IAVSA is actively seeking agencies and departments interested in hosting a Voice Stress Analysis (VSA) course. By hosting a VSA course, your agency will automatically receive two training slots for participants.
